Got a few questions about billing on VolunteerLocal? You've come to the right place. If you don't see your question listed here, please email us at hello@volunteerlocal.com or drop us a line at 800-909-7370 to speak with a representative. We'd be happy to help.
When will I be billed?
You will be billed when you select a plan and submit your credit card.
Can I pay quarterly instead of all at once?
Please contact us to discuss quarterly payments. We do not offer monthly payments.
Can I pay by check?
Yes, we accept checks. If you would like to pay by check, please email us at hello@volunteerlocal.com with your name and desired plan type.
I bought a single-event plan, but now I'd like to upgrade to an annual plan. Do I have to pay the full price for the annual plan?
If you are upgrading to our annual plan within the same calendar year that you paid for a single-event plan, we will only charge you the difference between the two plans. Your renewal date is when you bought the single-event plan.
For example, if you paid $200 for a single-event Discover Plan in February, and then upgraded to the annual Discover Plan ($600) in April, we would only charge you the difference ($400). The renewal date for your new (annual) plan would fall in February, when the original single-event plan was purchased.
Does VolunteerLocal automatically renew my plan each year?
Yes, we have the option to activate auto-renewals. Set it and forget it!
Where can I find my renewal date?
Your renewal date can be found in your VolunteerLocal account under Account->Billing & Plan Info.
How long does a single-event plan last?
Your plan begins immediately when you submit your billing information, and expires seven (7) days after the last day of your event on VolunteerLocal. If you need more time following your event, just let us know.
Can I mix and match the single-event upgrade options (e.g. one event at the Grow Plan, and another event at the Conquer Plan)?
Yes. Contact us so we can configure your account.
I'm on a free trial of a paid plan. How do I upgrade my account?
Simply enter your billing information under Account->Billing & Plan Info and select the plan you'd like to use for your organization. Your trial period will immediately end and your paid subscription will begin.
Does VolunteerLocal offer nonprofit discounts?
We've built our pricing to be non-profit friendly, however, we do not offer a nonprofit discount at this time. Our system is (and will always be) ad-free.
We are a flexible company that cares about your event. If we can accommodate your organization through a specialized payment plan, please let us know. You can call us at 800-909-7370 or email us at hello@volunteerlocal.com.
