Upload a Waiver

Do you have a waiver, disclaimer, or terms & conditions document? If so, you may use VolunteerLocal to collect digital signatures.

Navigate to Events > Your Events > Disclaimer.

Indicate how you'd like to label this document (example: waiver, disclaimer, etc.) Copy-and-paste your waiver into the dialogue box on this page, and be sure to check the box underneath to make all signatures required. All done!

If you anticipate minors signing up to volunteer, you can also add a minor waiver to your scheduling page. This waiver is triggered when the volunteer submits a birthdate that makes him/her under the age of 18 at the time of volunteering.

Update Confirmation Emails

VolunteerLocal can automatically send confirmation emails to your volunteers! You get to completely customize the emails with whatever information is important to you and your volunteers.

Go to: Events > Your Events > Confirmation Settings.

All confirmation emails automatically come with the volunteer's job and shift information, as well as a link to their volunteer profile.

Viewing Your Volunteer Database

Find new applicants in the "Report" section of your VolunteerLocal account. This is your volunteer database: an A-Z rolodex of everyone who has applied via your live page (or you've imported from a spreadsheet).

Go to: Volunteers > Report. Select your application from the drop-down menu.

You may also view reports of volunteers registered for your events, jobs, and shifts. Simply select the event from the drop-down menu, then click on a job and shift to expand a list of registered volunteers.
