Password protecting a job or shift will hide that particular role from the general public. A field to “enter a password” will appear at the top of your live sign-up page, and volunteers who have been given the password will be able to submit it here to reveal the hidden (or private) positions.

To password protect a job, go to Events > Your Events > Jobs, and then click on the job you would like to password protect. The job will expand to reveal a number of options, including a field to create a password.  You can set as many passwords as you would like, and multiple jobs can be password protected with the same password.

To password protect a shift, go to Events > Your Events > Shifts, click the job on the left-hand side, and then click “Review Shifts” on the right. You can then click on any shift to reveal the “shift detail,” and here is where you’ll find a field to create a password for that particular time.

Heads up: you cannot password protect a shift within an already password protected job.
